In contrast to the majority of responses, I would want to state that Angular JS is a simple framework. I think the Angular framework’s ease of use is largely responsible for its success. We used frameworks like Backbone and Knockout, which were difficult to use, time-consuming to learn, and still don’t offer a clear project structure. On the other hand, Angular is a well-organized framework that meets nearly all web development requirements. Many members of the community have helped. Getting to it was both simple and challenging. In my opinion, learning Angular is simple if you are familiar with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Actually, it is a syntactical sugar on top of different HTML and JavaScript concepts. The lack of a proper start is the only reason why I have observed many developers, including my colleagues, finding Angular challenging. Because Angular is so strong and well-liked, there are thousands of posts on a single subject, which leads to confusion. Until you are ready for more complex topics, it is preferable to either start with official documentation or limit yourself to a single video series. As a side note, Angular JS is currently less in demand in the market due to the availability of more sophisticated versions like Angular 2 and even Angular 4. Instead of using Angular Js, I strongly advise every new developer to switch to Angular 2. The good news is that learning the new Angular doesn’t require any prior understanding of Angular JS.

I take it that by “AngularJS,” you mean Angular 1.0, which isn’t the official term but is useful for differentiating them. Using both, I have worked on projects. Your motivation for wanting to learn Angular will determine the response. Learning AngularJS could be a wise decision if you want to learn Angular because you are interested in careers for Angular developers. There isn’t a strong argument to migrate all of their existing software to Angular 4, which necessitates retraining their development teams in Angular 4 and refactoring a significant portion of their code, so the majority of development agencies and businesses haven’t made the switch yet. Therefore, it would make sense to study AngularJS, which could help you in your job search. However, I would strongly advise studying Angular 4 if you are beginning a fresh, greenfield project that will use Angular.
