Job Title: AutoCAD Designer – Automation Industry

Location: Jaipur, India

Job Summary*

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer with experience in the automation industry to develop detailed technical drawings for industrial automation systems. The candidate will work closely with automation engineers, electrical teams, and project managers to design layouts, control panels, and system schematics for manufacturing and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D/3D drawings for automation systems using AutoCAD
• Prepare electrical schematics, control panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and cable routing plans
• Develop GA (General Arrangement) drawings for machines and automated production lines
• Interpret P&IDs, technical specifications, and engineering inputs
• Coordinate with PLC, SCADA, and mechanical design teams
• Modify and update drawings based on project changes and client feedback
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Maintain documentation, drawing revisions, and project records
• Support installation and commissioning teams with technical drawings Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D is mandatory; 3D is a plus)
• Good understanding of industrial automation systems
• Knowledge of electrical design, panel design, and wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with PLC panels, MCC panels, and instrumentation layouts
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Skills*

• Experience with EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or AutoCAD Electrical
• Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
• Knowledge of relevant Indian and international standards (IEC, IS)
• Experience in industries like automotive, FMCG, or manufacturing Work Environment
• Office-based design work with occasional site visits
• Collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
• May involve tight deadlines in project-based environments
